Sourcing & Product Developer - Private Label

About the role

Private label at Bonami requires strong execution and reliable product development across multiple suppliers and product types.

We are looking for a Sourcing & Product Developer who will take ownership of turning product ideas into real, scalable products.

This role is not about high-level strategy. It is about making things happen – working with suppliers, managing development, and ensuring products are delivered as expected.

You will work closely with the Head of Private Label and Product Designer to bring products from concept to reality.

Responsibilities

Product Development

• Manage the full product development process from brief to final production

• Work with suppliers and manufacturers to develop products according to specifications

• Ensure product feasibility in terms of materials, cost, and production capabilities

• Manage samples, iterations, and approvals

Sourcing & Supplier Management

• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturers

• Identify suitable production partners for different product types

• Support negotiations around pricing, MOQ, and production terms

• Ensure suppliers meet required quality and delivery standards

Execution & Delivery

• Monitor timelines and ensure products are delivered on time

• Track costs and ensure alignment with target margins

• Identify risks in development or production and resolve them early

• Ensure smooth handover to Supply Chain, Inventory and Category Management teams

• Costs and margins are under control and aligned with targets

• Suppliers deliver consistent quality and reliability

• Development process is structured and scalable

• Collaboration with Product Designer and Head of Private Label is effective

You are perfect for this role if you

• Have experience in sourcing, product development, or supplier management

• Understand how products are developed and manufactured

• Are detail-oriented and able to manage multiple products at different stages

• Can work with suppliers and push for results when needed

• Are comfortable with numbers (costs, margins, pricing)

• Have strong communication and negotiation skills in English

• Are proactive and able to solve problems independently

• You prefer high-level strategy over hands-on execution

• You are not comfortable working with suppliers and production details

• You struggle to manage timelines, costs, and multiple parallel processes
